Stephen Ministry is our congregation’s one-to-one care giving ministry. God works through the Stephen Minister to plant a seed of hope and healing in a person whose life may seem barren or forlorn because of some crisis or tragedy.
The Stephen Minister will listen, explore feelings, pray, share God’s love, and maintain confidentiality as he or she meets weekly with a care receiver. Care is given to people grieving, ill, lonely, homebound, unemployed as well as other crises or life challenging events. Our trained Stephen Ministers are ready to provide the confidential care you or someone you know might need to get through a crisis or difficult time.
