It's that time of year again - girl scout cookie time. In accordance with the Church's policy regarding fundraising sales, the Council has come up with the following procedure for the sale of girl scout cookies. There will be a table set up in the narthex to be used by all girl scouts. Each girl who wants to participate in the sales must wear her vest. We will have a single form for all members desiring to buy cookies to use for placing their order. At the end of each Sunday, the cookies sales for that day will be divided equally among the girls who are at the table. The table will be set up between services and after the late service. If there are any girl scouts who attend the first service that want to sell cookies, they can be at the table before the first service, but I will need a parent to tell me who was at the table and give me a copy of the list of the cookies sold. We are asking the girls to please not approach people about buying cookies at church. The table will be set up on the following Sundays: January 10, January 17 and January 24.

Fund Raising
Concerns over fund raising for schools and other activities have been expressed by the members of the congregation to the church council. Due to these concerns, the following rules have been established to pertain to all fund raising at Rejoice, including those for Rejoice such as youth etc. The exceptions are ongoing script, greeting cards sales and outreach projects.
Only two people or groups will be authorized each Sunday by a designated council member.
The congregation will be informed that a table will be set up for this situation. The people authorized will be at that table. They will not be allowed to approach worshippers. Fund Raising request forms are located on the office door. Please contact Sandra Gass, council secretary, if you need more information.
