Usually offered two times each year, the main Newcomer Group events are typically on Sunday afternoons after the Celebration service–across four consecutive Sundays. Lunch is provided (along with child care, if needed).
During these events, newcomers will meet many active Rejoice members, who will expose them to a large sample of the many ministries, groups and other opportunities Rejoice offers. Newcomers will also be building relationships with these and other members, and with the pastor, as well as with other newcomers. By the time they have completed their newcomer group experience, they will have a better idea of whether Rejoice is for them—and if so, what their role among us might be.
After participating in a four week Newcomer Group experience, those who wish to join are invited to be part of Rejoice’s membership.
